When I used Funabori Station after a long time, I discovered a new shop. I happened to be craving a sandwich, so I stopped by. Many items were sold out at that time, so I bought 3 of the remaining items: a tomato sandwich, a tuna sandwich, and custard. What concerns me when buying sandwiches is whether moisture from the vegetables has soaked into the bread and made it soggy. Since I bought them later in the day, I was a little worried and ate them as soon as I got home. The tuna sandwich had plenty of lettuce, but there were no problems and it was delicious. The tomato sandwich was tasty too, but the moisture from the tomato had made the bread a little watery, which was disappointing. Next time, I would like to visit earlier when there are more items available and try a variety of flavors.
View on GoogleA sandwich shop on the left as you exit Funabori Station. It is nice to enjoy all kinds of fillings. The burdock sandwich was unusual and looked delicious, so I bought it for the first time, and it was tasty.
View on GoogleIt was usually quite crowded, so I never felt like buying anything, but it was quiet when I passed by, so I bought something at this branch for the first time The young male staff member had zero enthusiasm lol It makes you lose the desire to eat those delicious-looking sandwiches before you even try them, so at least give us a smile… Many of the sandwiches have unusual names, so I think choosing could be fun too I bought sandwiches for the family, and we all tried them! The bread was chewy and delicious too The fillings were a little sparse, but they are more affordable than convenience-store sandwiches, so I think it is fair There are no discounts even just before closing, so in that case it may be better to buy earlier I found the flavors a little strong, but there are so many varieties that looking for a sandwich to suit your taste could be fun Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleFor the past few years, when I go out, I pay for all meals, cafés, and shopping on my smartphone (Suica・PASMO・paypay, etc.). My phone case is slim too, and I do not like anything getting in the way, so I carry no cash at all. Around 2 times when buying sandwiches at this shop, I have canceled after receiving the items because I was then told payment was cash only. I think the owner made this decision to avoid paying fees to payment providers, but please spare a little thought for customers too. If we could pay with PASMO or similar, payment would be instant and there would be no need to receive change. I think they would get more customers too. As far as I remember, there are no shops inside stations around Tokyo that do not accept code payments. The sandwiches are delicious, but for the reasons above, I have not been buying them lately.
View on Google[Location: Funabori Station, just a short walk] I found it while walking in front of the station! “ひまわり”! The menu has so much variety, from fruit and vegetables to katsu and menchi (*≧∀≦*) What I ordered •Cheese Egg (280) It was packed with filling, and the bread was delicious too! You just have to buy this, right! I will definitely go back to buy more (๑>◡<๑)
