I love a good tonkatsu (とんかつ), but this place has a special offering involving miso sauce. They bring the pork on a sizzling plate and then pour the miso sauce overtop the dish. It was unique but also tasty. You can get a set meal with rice, miso soup, potato salad, and pickled vegetables. The price was reasonable too. It’s worth a try. Service was fast and friendly.

I am not a fan of katsudon, mainly because of the Worcestershire sauce, but my daughter insisted we come here. So we did, and now I am a katsudon convert! Firstly, let's talk about their cute logo. A pork sumo? How adorable! We visited midday, and there was no wait to get a table. Our server was a trainee. She was lovely, and tried her best. She got all our orders correctly, albeit not to whomever they belonged to, so we just switched the food around. I tried the miso and Worcester sauce and they were both delicious. We also had their kani cream croquettes. Yum! But, it's best to wait for it to cool before popping it into your mouth. I learned this the hard way. The staff are friendly, attentive, and very welcoming. I will definitely visit this place again.

One of the finest tonkatsu. If you like juicy pork, this is the place. It serves delicious tonkatsu dishes. Shrimpkatsu is one of the best. Though the price is ralatively high but the portion size is quite big. The place is not spacious but cozy. There are some Japanese traditional dining rooms on the basement. Highly recommended.

I found this restaurant completely by chance while walking back to my hotel after spotting it on Google Maps, and it turned out to be one of the best surprises of my trip. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the tonkatsu with their special sauce, and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had. Crispy, juicy, incredibly flavourful, and offered at a very fair price. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're nearby, don't miss it.

We visited Yabaton’s Ginza outlet and were seriously impressed. The pork cutlets here are some of the juiciest we’ve had—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and generously smothered in their signature miso sauce. The sauce is bold, savoury, and full of umami, giving each bite that comforting Nagoya-style richness. The Ginza location is just a short walk from the main shopping strip but feels pleasantly tucked away. Service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was casual and welcoming. If you’re looking to try a distinctive regional Japanese dish in Tokyo, this is a must-visit. Highly recommended for fans of deep, hearty flavours done exceptionally well.
