We walked past this shop and were intrigued by the unique desserts, something we hadn’t seen before. As non-Japanese, we were curious and decided to try it. The staff recommended the chestnut flavor, and we also got the purple sweet potato one. Each dessert has a soft serve base covered with delicate strands of paste. The texture and taste were really nice, not too sweet and very enjoyable. At ¥800 each, we thought the price was reasonable given the location and presentation. We’d love to try it again next time.

One of my must-go Mont Blanc everytime in Tokyo, they have 2 flavours. One sweet potato 🍠 and another is their signature chestnut 🌰 For the small size, the base is Mochi and cream. With the large size, which is my go-to, the base is soft serve vanilla ice-cream. Absolutely delicious and the best part is, there’s sit-in and takeaway 😉

Mont Blanc is one of my favorite desserts, so I was really excited to try Kuririn. This location in Coredo Muromachi is quite small, with a tiny eating space. My friend and I were fortunately able to sit since there was a couple leaving, but it’s not really somewhere where you can have a nice, relaxing teatime—you basically eat and go. I ordered the Shiju Kogane Mont Blanc (1,000 yen), which is Mont Blanc in a cup and you can eat in or take it to go. They make all of the desserts right in front of you, which was cool to watch. It is pricey considering its dessert in a cup, but it was delicious for sure. I do wish they had more space for eating in, but worth a try for Mont Blanc-lovers.

At around 8pm we walked in and asked for an English menu. She curtly passed it to us. We sat down and about to order only for her to say that sorry its closed. If you are closed, why pass us the menu? So nope, I don't know if the food is good but the service is terrible, probably hates tourists and families.

I couldn’t agree that the chestnut dessert from this restaurant was good, especially after trying the same brand’s dessert at their Nagoya outlet. The depth and texture of the chestnut paste were so different, making the level of enjoyment contrast significantly. Additionally, the store is quite small with limited and crowded seating. The service was a bit unfriendly and impatient. Due to this unpleasant experience, we wouldn’t recommend this place.
