Standing ramen is an appealing experience in japan. This place is historical, operating since 1955. Ordered a pork soy ramen, at jpy 1000. Came with a big bowl of noodle, a delicate broth, and 4 pieces of pork. This offering and price range in tsukiji market - Absolute steal. In my experience, the staff is very friendly, contrast to some other reviews suggested.

One of the best shoyu ramen I have ever eaten! I could eat this all day!!!!!! The flavour, the noodle, the heart and passion poured into cooking this dish. I love how they are doing it because of Ikigai, they love what they do and they do it with passion. You can taste it in their food. Arigatou!

I eat here every time I visit Tokyo. There’s a beef and rice bowl place right next to it, equally good. The ramen here feels like grandma’s ramen - nothing fancy, but tastes good and fills you up. Simple fare. Don’t go expecting some mind blowing dish. Usually no wait unless it’s peak tourist season and after say 10am. I love the ramen here.

I read somewhere that this is the shop used to be where the fish vendors have their breakfast. This alone is historical enough for us to buy a few bowls of their ramen. Simple fare which tasted like wanton noodles. The thickness of the noodles were similar as well. I’m wondering if this was how they cooked their noodles, which was soft so if you are a fan of hard noodles, you may not like it. I like the simplicity of the dish though. Char siew was savory and delicious.

Had breakfast here almost every morning while staying in Ginza. Quick service with great ramen at 1,000 JPY. Can't complain much on that price.
