Unwind with a delightful afternoon break of beautiful wagashi and matcha tea! Witness the artistry firsthand as a master crafts these exquisite Japanese treats right before your eyes. The wagashi are not only delicious but also visually stunning, making the experience a feast for all senses. It's the perfect way to relax and appreciate the beauty and flavors of Japanese culture.
View on GoogleI went there to have tea with my mother and we had such a wonderful time ! We sat at the counter and were mesmerised by the skills of the wagashi maker, he was also very nice to us the whole time. We took home the most delicious ichigo daifuku we had on our trip. We would have loved to do the tea experience again on our last day but only had time to buy some pastries to take out before catching our plane back home. We highly recommend this place !
View on GoogleExperiencing wagashi made fresh before your eyes is a truly mesmerizing journey into Japanese culture and artistry. Wagashi, traditional Japanese sweets, are not only a delight to taste but also an art form that tells a story of the seasons. Enjoying freshly made wagashi feels almost meditative. You’re not just savoring a dessert; you’re witnessing an age-old tradition. It’s an experience that engages all senses—one that leaves you with a deep appreciation for the beauty and simplicity of Japanese craftsmanship. All Waggish are vegetarian friendly.
View on GoogleA must place to go if you are interested in wagashi. The master will make a beautiful wagashi right in front of you. And apparently the wagashi changes every season.
View on GoogleAmazing experience. My wife loved it. Make sure you go for "experience" where craftman makes season-themed mochi art pieces right away in front of you. It was almost too pretty to eat. We came on a weekday so there was no line-up. They also have a separate part of the restaurant where you get regular sweets and another part too buy take-out Japanese sweets.
