This restaurant at the fish market was at the corner and was connected from the outer edge all the way inside the market, the food was fantastic. We had a nice lunch there with sea urchin, bluefin tuna, steamed clamps, sushi, and rice bowls. Good food, nice service, and very fun environment eating in one of their booths. A neat experience in the Tsukiji Outer Market area.

BEWARE! Please note, 5pcs of uni sushi is bitter and dull coloured Used Google translate to enquire/share with the English speaking young lady, she got defensive and harp on the fact we ordered the 2,500 yen (5pcs) they used imported Uni If we want fresh version, we have to order 1,000 yen uni. Emphasized we’re tourists & wouldn’t wanna get food poisoning as the first stop of the day! I would not need a refund… perhaps reflect why the country’s lacking the charm based on these basic ethics? 6 of us, sat upstairs (3 larger tables). Fatty tuna sashimi was good. Beef and Unagi (eel) rice bowl was good. Shrimp tempora udon was ok. Staff was very nice. Food was quick. Staff forgot 1 item; no biggie. Check it out.

If you want local food and experience without being ripped off around the corner from the other places, this is your place to eat. Plenty of counter-side seating, they have got an array of choices from seat meals and popular choices to appetizers and drinks. Service is phenomenal. Portions are perfect. Quality is great. Price is very reasonable. What more do you want?
