Tsukiji Kagura Sushi Annex
【つきぢ神楽寿司 新館】, a 5-minute walk from Tsukiji Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and a 5-minute walk from Tsukijishijo Station on the Toei Oedo Line, is a Tsukiji sushi restaurant proud of its red vinegar and aburi (seared sushi). Wanting our customers to enjoy truly delicious food, our executive chef personally goes to Toyosu Market every morning to negotiate with vendors and buy fish, sourcing with close attention to season and origin. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since before the pandemic, and including their main location, I’ve probably visited around ten times. Sadly, the restaurant has changed a lot. The prices seem to go up every time I visit, but on my most recent visit, the quality, taste, and freshness of the food simply did not match the prices at all. The vegetables and shellfish in particular were noticeably lacking in freshness. I had been really looking forward to their sushi with red vinegar rice, but the food was so disappointing that I decided to leave without even ordering it. It’s such a shame to see a restaurant I used to enjoy become so focused on catering to foreign tourists while the quality has declined and the prices have continued to rise. After being a repeat customer for years, I never thought I’d say this, but sadly, I won’t be coming back.
View on GoogleAmazing sushi and affordable, very friendly staffs. I came with my wife and my small 1 year old daughter, they are very helpful and accommodating
View on GoogleThe price of the seafood is not corresponding to the freshness and taste. We don’t really like the rice. Quite pricy to eat in the visitors’ spot.
View on GoogleFresh premium Uni is the best! Sashimi also very nice, with seafood soup ❤️
View on GoogleSuper cute, very friendly - especially with us not speaking any Japanese. The sashimi and sushi were DELICIOUS!!! The head chef mad us the worlds smallest sushi 🍣. So happy we found this little spot.
