Housed in a beautiful, Western-style vintage building marked by the French flag, this Ginza cafe is a true gem. The signature cafe latte performance is an absolute must-see.But it’s not just for show—the coffee itself, made with rich and full-bodied Central American beans, is incredibly high-quality, instantly making this one of my favorite spots in the city. I also tried the Apple Pie, which had just the right touch of cinnamon and a wonderfully crispy, flaky crust that felt substantial and satisfying. I’m already looking forward to trying their other cakes on my next visit.
View on GoogleWe got to the Cafe before it opens about 8:25 and there was already a line. We waited for 30 minutes and that's about the amount of time it takes for one sitting. The menu is not big so we ordered an apple pie and a toast with two coffees. The coffee was good the food was all right there was nothing amazing and all the hype is mostly around the atmosphere and history has in the room. I don't necessarily recommended for people who are from Europe or America. This is more unique for people who are from Asia. If you are from Europe you get plenty of these establishments back home. Don't waste your time. If you want to experience the Japanese Cafe and hospitality I suggest that you come here early otherwise you could end up waiting for minutes if not hours.
View on GoogleBeware that this cafe only accepts cash. I visited this cafe 2 times and left satisfied during both times. The Vienna coffee was so good, and went very well alongside the Chocolat which was very delicious, so I recommend you try them both. I also tried the apple pie which was very delicious. The cafe has a nice interior which adds up to the atmosphere inside. Expect a queue, I had to wait during both my visits but I can clearly say that it’s worth the wait.
View on GoogleWe were going to shop early in Ginza and wanted hopefully a special coffee shop, and found the perfect one. Tricolore is in a red-brick building. The minute we stepped thru its revolving door wr knew it was special - glittering chandeliers, velvet-red armchairs, polished wood cabinets, and staff in white uniforms set a scene of quiet elegance. The service was impeccable - attentive and friendly. The table ware delightful. I especially loved how they poured the coffee. I had the antique blend coffee and I liked it so much I had a second cup. My wife had the special Blue Mountain single-origin coffee and fresh grapefruit juice We both had the Breakfast Special including a coffee, extra thick delicious toasted bread and Salad Highly recommended!! BTW as we were leaving there was a line up of about 10 people.
View on GoogleDiscovered this cafe on Instagram and was immediately drawn in by the classic revolving door and the interior design. I ordered the blended coffee and apple pie. Both were good but the coffee is a bit pricey as compared to other Tokyo cafes. That said, the atmosphere makes up for it. Be prepared for long queue!
