The aburi tuna is like a live show, great experience. The taste, well, good for a snack, a bit too heavy, yet quite tender, good with beer. May buy again if no queue.

To be honest I wasn't sure what I was expecting when I saw the phrase tuna steak. I have eaten tuna before, both raw and cooked, but this was a whole new experience taste wise. The fun part to me was watching them cook it. Bathe in oil and seared with flames, it was kinda of interesting to see the whole process. Q is quite fast moving so don't be discouraged. My advise is to try all the condiments. You will get 3-4 pieces per skewer. They have pepper, chili and lemon so you can season each of them separately. I can't speak for others but I definitely enjoyed mine. First off, it didn't taste like fish. The flesh was surprisingly solid, yet tender and juicy. With the different condiments giving it a different kind of taste kick. Eating it hot was definitely enjoyable especially since the day I went to was rainy, breezy and cold. I always find it difficult to comment on price as it's always a subjective manner. To each their own I suppose. Personally I think it's worth it and definitely worth a try, and for me, worth a repeated visit.

Really good grilled tuna skewer. You will have to stand at the side walk where people pass to be able to eat here though.

MAR 2024 Came here early in the morning and waited in line for about ten minutes to buy a tuna steak skewer. It has a nice flame seared aroma, you get a good three meaty bites, tender and juicy. There are some condiments including shichimi spice, lemon juice, salt and pepper to season the tuna steak. It was pretty tasty, worth trying if the queue is not long.

Grilled Tuna steak! It served in a stick! The tuna quite solid in texture, can served with lemon juice and black pepper which provided by the stall.
