[Tempura Bowl Features] Utilizing the tempura techniques cultivated since our founding, we aimed for an authentic Edomae tempura bowl. Using Hageten's original oil, a blend of high-quality sesame oil and cottonseed oil, each ingredient is fried for the appropriate time, resulting in a crispy tempura bowl that doesn't sit heavy on the stomach. [Ramen Features] We developed this product in collaboration with the consulting division of the 'Chikaranomoto Group', which operates the Hakata-originated ramen specialty store 'Ippudo'. With a light, low-fat pork bone soup blended with sesame and fish powder, paired with number 30 extra-thin straight noodles, we finished it as a refreshing Japanese-style pork bone ramen that goes down smoothly even when eaten with oily tempura. Ginza Hageten serves really good tempura—light, crispy, and flavorful without feeling greasy. Everything we ordered was cooked well, and the quality of the ingredients really came through. I also liked how small and intimate the restaurant was. With seating for only around 15 people, it had a cozy, authentic feel that made the dining experience more enjoyable. If you're looking for good tempura in Ginza, this is definitely worth a visit.

We were hungry so popped in here after a visit to GU. You order and pay via the vending machine. We both had the tempura don with a bowl of ramen - it was a carb overload. The broth had a nutty sesame taste but was salty. The rice came with four tempura prawns and some shrimp omelette, and was tasty.

We came at a quiet hour for dinner on a weekday…just happened to see a cute tempura eatery and went in. We ordered via a ticket machine near the door. After giving the tickets to the waitress, we got seated on chairs at the spacious u-shape counter. The chefs were a couple of elderly men who were very friendly, nodding and smiling at us often. We thanked them for the well-prepared and tasty tempura and ramen bowls that we had. It was a lovely experience.

Small joint with limited counter seats. Orders are made at the ticketing machine and you try to get your seats. Larger groups will be a challenge as with such set up. Food was nothing to shout about. We had a bit of confusion on the extra order of char siew. It was served together with a set which was not the one which we had asked for extras. It was in tempura form hencr getting clarity was a real big challenge. Thing abouy such set up is the "stress" on you to quickly finish your meal and move out. There will be queue of people staring at you.
