Me and my colleagues had a lovely dinner here in September. Even though there was no English menu the staff did an excellent job with helping us order hearty, filling dishes. If I ever get the opportunity to visit again, I will! The only thing I can critique about my experience was the ventilation - the deep fried smell stuck to my clothes more than in any other restaurant I've visited in Tokyo.
View on GoogleThis place was very near to my previous work location so I used to visit here all the time to have my favourate menu "tori shio soba". The staff was so humble and prompt that they remembered me all the times i visited and kept my order ready with extra rice n no ice water before I would ask. I miss it very badly.
View on GoogleMenu enjoyed ・もつ鍋 ・豚骨ラーメン ・自家製葱油冷製和え麺 ・粗挽き牛肉とたっぷりキクラゲの肉しゅうまい ・特製から揚げ ・梅カルピスハイ This restaurant lets you enjoy its signature motsunabe as well as ramen and individual dishes. The offal in the motsunabe was tender and springy, releasing more savory flavor with every bite. It was packed with vegetables too, making it satisfying. The chilled mixed noodles with homemade scallion oil had a lovely scallion-oil aroma and were easy to enjoy even in hot weather. They also have tonkotsu ramen, so there's plenty to enjoy among the noodles too. There are also dishes that pair well with alcohol, including meat shumai with coarsely ground beef and plenty of wood ear mushrooms, and special fried chicken. The ume Calpis high was an original creation and paired well with the food. Apparently their motsunabe, tonkotsu ramen, and fried rice are also sold on Rakuten, and I thought it was convenient to enjoy the restaurant's flavors at home too. A welcome place for motsunabe lovers, whether dining in or ordering online.
View on GoogleI had 「濃厚豚骨ラーメン、替え玉」. A few minutes' walk from Hatchobori, my first visit to this place on my to-visit list that stays open between meal periods It had been on my list since it attracted media attention back when it was in Shiodome. After it moved to Hatchobori, I thought it had become a motsunabe restaurant, but it still served noodles and set meals that suited my tastes I went in, bought a meal ticket from the machine at the entrance, and handed it to the staff. Since it was an early dinner, I was the only customer The noodles arrived in just over 5 minutes An exquisite, rich Hakata-style tonkotsu broth without any unpleasant smell, with thin, straight noodles with a clean bite. Complimentary rice came too, and I'd already bought a noodle-refill ticket There was quite a lot of the smooth, rich tonkotsu broth, which clung firmly to the noodles, making it unexpectedly filling It was so delicious that I polished off the rice and extra noodles. Honestly, I was absolutely stuffed The broth was so tasty that I'd have wanted to add spicy takana greens or ground sesame as toppings, even at an extra charge I'm also curious about the menchi, karaage, tsukemen, and abura soba, so I plan to keep visiting Thank you for the meal So delicious, completely satisfied
View on GoogleI had rich curry tonkotsu ramen for lunch. I ordered it to try something a little unusual. Although the curry flavor was somewhat strong, the tonkotsu broth still came through clearly, and I enjoyed it.
