Fantastic small local restaurant with the most beautifully cooked katsudon (thick, juicy fried pork topped with sweet onions and stewed until the egg is just cooked through). Soba noodles are wonderful too but I was so distracted by the delicious katsudon. Tempera maitake mushrooms and sweet potatoes were awesome sides too. Cash only and expect to share a table during busy times. Very simple English menu but more can be discovered if you use Google Translate because more items are written on strips of paper on the wall for both food and drinks.

Traditional style of soba noodles restaurant. I had the seri ( Japanese parsley) curry soba, seri was fresh and great combination with curry soup.

One of the best local soba noodles stop in town, right in the heart of Tokyo. Even though we were tourists and the main guests were clearly not, the staff did their absolute best at making sure we understood everything we ordered and even provided us with recommendations. Pricing was also amazing as we paid roughly ¥3500 for 2 meals and beers. Food was incredible! Do keep in mind, cash only. I’d highly recommend!!!

Small eatery full of locals, we came here at dinner time and we were the only foreigners. We enjoyed the soba and tempura. The staff here are really friendly and sweet despite not speaking much English. Do note that they turned away a few people after 8:15 or so due to the kitchen closing and last orders. Because they don’t speak English too much, people may get confused!

Had maitake tempura soba for lunch. Volume is was good and liked tempura. Very popular place for luncj so better to come a bit early.
