たいこ茶屋Taiko Chaya
Casual restaurant drawing crowds for classic Japanese seafood, including a buffet.
If you want seafood or sashimi in Nihonbashi・Asakusabashi, come to 「Taiko Chaya」☆ We are a seafood izakaya serving fresh sashimi sourced daily from Tsukiji. Our tuna dishes alone include a wide selection, even unusual items such as tuna bone marrow and fried tuna eyes. At lunchtime, amazingly, sashimi is all-you-can-eat, along with rice, side dishes, desserts, and everything else!! Our tuna-cutting show, held every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from around 7:00 in the evening, is hugely popular and always lively. And now all-you-can-eat is available at dinner as well as lunch!! Nigiri sushi, assorted sashimi, unagi kabayaki, seafood, chicken karaage, curry…

View on GoogleNice place, casual atmosphere, friendly staff and very good sushi. Our tuna bowl was outstanding. We also had several other dishes. We would visit again.
View on Google11 days in Tokyo, this is the worst meal I’ve ever had. In general, the restaurant is quite dirty. Forcing customers to put on gloves when they get the food. However, when we put the gloves on the table, we found it so dirty! No AC at all which is quite hot. The staff there are quite rude which I have never experienced in Japan. The sashimi is not that fresh as expected. Maybe this is local taste but I strongly suggest all tourists to avoid this restaurant. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
