Lovely ladies making the best noodles/rice bowl. Definitely recommend spicy cod roe noodles. We came here three times in our 7-day tokyo trip.

Okay, so I am not exaggerating when I say that now that I'm back home that I'm gushing about this place. The food was so affordable, yet delicious to the last bite. When you get there, you order at the small stand with the menu on it. Then you wait at the waiting tables near the street. Once they have a table available, they will beckon you to sit down. I ordered the spicy mentaiko pasta, while my partner ordered the salmon and shirasu ochazuke. His ochazuke was one of the best we had in Japan, with a light, but flavorful dashi, rich, flaky salmon, crunchy tempura bits -- it was a perfectly balanced ochazuke. My spicy mentaiko pasta was the pasta of my dreams. I loved the juxtaposition of rich, creamy, spicy, and savory taste that it gave. Decadent, umami, and so memorable. If you like spice, get this pasta... if not, then get the regular mentaiko pasta. If you are near Tsukiji Market and need a quick meal, I would 💯 recommend this place. Great, quick service, good, affordable food.

Tried this food stall because apparently it’s famous. The cod roe pasta is yummy (if you don’t like fishy stuff, maybe don’t order this). The two ladies are also lovely.

A very nice surprise! We got the spicy cod row noodle, regular size. It wasn’t too spicy at all (we both have fairly low heat and spice tolerance). It had great flavor and we enjoyed every bite of it. On an early rainy Monday morning, the place wasn’t busy at all. It got busier towards lunch time but the lines seemed reasonable. Sharing a bowl was more than enough for the both of us. We wanted to have some room to try other stuff at the market. Selling at 850 yen per bowl, this placed presented great value.
