There's a café on the grounds of the Shimizu Corporation headquarters, and I went in out of curiosity. The long, narrow interior mainly has counter seats. You order at the counter by the entrance. Near the ordering counter there's a variety of Japanese sweets. Many of them were Eitaro sweets, so it may be affiliated with them. They also seem to have yokan and such for gifts, so it looks like you can buy small sweets as souvenirs here too. I ordered a matcha latte to go. They made it on the spot and I took it out. The taste was a bit mild and I didn't feel much of the tea's astringency, but it was decent. The price is quite reasonable too, so it seems good for a quick break. Looking at the comments, it seems smoking is allowed inside, but I didn't find it very smoky.
View on GoogleIt's in a corner of the Shimizu Corporation headquarters. Smoking allowed at all seats. It's more of a smoking facility than a café. I went at lunchtime, but the only filling item on the menu was pancakes. No Wi-Fi, so ★ minus 1
View on GoogleI expected a long wait at the ENT clinic so I looked for a café and ended up at a smoking café!! I hate smoke so no way! But I bought just a coffee to go, and, well, the coffee wasn't good either.
View on GoogleYou can smoke inside. So, as a non-smoker, it wasn't for me. I wish they'd write "Smoking allowed" in big letters. I couldn't stand it and left with my coffee unfinished. By the way, if you go at lunchtime, it's full and you end up having to drink standing.
View on GoogleFully smoking, right in the heart of Tokyo. Great for smokers, but tough for non-smokers. It's on the grounds of the Shimizu Corporation building — maybe the construction world thinks in a smoker-centered way. Smoker-centered is fine, but it'd be nice to have a non-smoking space.
