Of all the Schmatz in Tokyo this one is my favorite with the best atmosphere, on a 2nd level with a small outdoor patio for good weather days/nights. The view is not spectacular as it is overlooks an expressway. But a short walk from Tsukiji or Ginza and you can get away from the crowds and relax for German beer and food. Definitely get the sauerkraut as it is warmed not from the fridge. So good I order 2 for me. ;-) yum yum with great beer. Free WiFi is available so just look behind the QR code ordering table card. Enjoy and relax here. Event party booking the whole place is also possible ( maybe for wedding parties as it's a little pricy for a work event ).

On Saturday night, we went there without making a reservation, and there were still a few places open for us. I've been to a lot of branches, but this one is my favorite because it's peaceful and not crowded. There was indoor and outdoor dining area. The food was good. We shared a member of dishes and we were enjoyed all of them. The toilet was not far from the restaurant and it was clean. The staff were attentive The price was acceptable 👍🏻

Honestly… in my opinion, not worth it. In total agreement with other reviews: this place felt like a giant rip-off. Full review: Came in with a friend and we ordered two full course meals as it looked quite appetising; nice variety, it seemed. To our shock: each platter that was marketed was brought in 1 plate with tweezers so that we’d share, at which point we got heavily confused, thinking perhaps we ordered wrong, we asked the waitresses, ‘Niko desu ka?’ — is it two?—and they said yes, but they’d mix it all together… why? Only two sausages, which were different, a small phone-sized pizza, pasta with 1 yolk on it (how do you share that?), and other appetisers which were far too small for it two be two full course meals… Sadly, we felt ripped-off. We paid a total of 9100¥ for two full course meals that consisted of pretzels, sausages and pasta, and three medium sized beers, which, to me, is just not something that’s worth all that. Like some other reviews have already mentioned, it did feel like a giant rip-off. The toilet was nice, though.

I ordered some seasonal dessert to the waiter, the order was accepted but I was told a few minutes later that the menu on the table was an old version and my order is not longer available.
