Came for the famous carrot cakes. Tried two kinds: the 4-spice cake was just okay (I wanted a stronger flavor), but the seasonal apricot and white miso one was actually great—the salty miso really made the sweetness pop. The hazelnut latte was pretty mediocre, though. Not much hazelnut flavor and the coffee itself was just meh. The highlight was definitely the service. The staff are super kind and attentive. As for the vibe, it’s a chill middle ground—not a trendy hipster spot, but not old-fashioned either. Good for working since they have Wi-Fi and outlets.
View on GoogleI searched for good carrot cake in Tokyo and this place came up. So I decided to give it a try. I ordered an Americano and a piece of carrot cake. The coffee was good and paired well with the sweet. And the carrot cake itself was tasty, with a moist texture and creamy icing. It was one of the better versions I’ve had in Tokyo. The service was friendly and there’s lots of seating options.
View on GoogleThis place is terrific for a croissant and coffee, just wishing the egg salad on the egg salad croissant was triple the amount. It was more of a garnish than a hearty serving. We also tried the tea and honey carrot cake. It was tasty, slightly dense, and had raisins. I liked it! Lastly, I'm a big fan of matcha latte but the closest thing I found here was the royal milk tea latte and it's just not for me. I'm sure it's a completely great cup of tea, just not my tastes so I can't fault them for that. The music is spirited jazz, not too loud, great for an energetic start to the day in my opinion. There are plenty of seats to have your meal at an enjoyable pace.
View on GoogleVery dark roasted beans so coffee is butter and nutty but still well made. Croissants were good, buttery and the egg had a very smooth consistency. Can recommend their morning set (until 11 00)
View on GoogleOne of the better coffees I have had in Japan, the staff were very friendly and couldn't speak a single word in English but a bit of Google translate solves that problem! Food was good too, we had the egg sandwich. The store was frequented by locals which is always great.
