I visited around noon on a weekday. A new condominium is being built next to the building the restaurant is in, so many of the people working there come here too, and the place was very lively. Above all, the menu is extensive. Even though it's a Western-style restaurant, they also have a sashimi set meal, which is very popular. Prices are around 1000 yen, very reasonable. Food comes out very quickly and the portions of rice and side dishes are generous, very satisfying. You can also order à la carte, and at night there seems to be a very good-value all-you-can-drink deal if you arrive before a set time. The staff are very polite and homey. It's a place I'd definitely like to visit again, both at night and at lunch. Payment is cash only. Thank you for the meal.

Detailed rating 3.4 I came to GOTO, a Western-style restaurant at Toyomi Pier. The interior has high ceilings and feels clean. Two paintings hang on the white-based walls, giving it a slightly refined atmosphere. I ordered the pork yakiniku, croquette, and aji fry combo for 800 yen. The slightly soft cabbage with a quick drizzle of dressing is quite tasty. The fried items were piping hot and crisply fried. The pork yakiniku is served on a small plate. There's plenty of sauce, and the onions are soaked with flavor. Pour it over the rice and it becomes a rice bowl. The rice is cooked on the soft side. The seasoning is a bit strong, but the meat had good umami, and the fat and texture were good too. For a lunch set at this price, getting this much is beyond expectations. It's partly a matter of taste, but you could sense their commitment to making cheap, delicious food.

There are few places to eat around here, so I come about once a week. At lunchtime there's a bit of a line. The older guy handling the floor is way too inefficient. I was waiting alone, and when a 4-person table opened up I thought I'd be seated, but he ended up seating the group of 4 behind me first. Couldn't he at least say something? That's how it felt. The food is ordinary Western-style fare. The rice portion is large, so light eaters must ask for less. Thanks for the meal.

Visited for lunch I tried the hamburg steak set meal. Even at lunch, it comes out on a sizzling iron plate‼️ As in the video, it's bubbling away and you get to eat it piping hot‼️ I'm planning to come again‼️

Visited for lunch before 12. The photo is the bluefin tuna sashimi set meal (1000 yen). As it's a recommended item, the tuna had a rich sweetness and was a luxury to have at lunch. At night they seem to offer 1 hour of all-you-can-drink for 500 yen, so I'd love to come by for drinks too. One thing to note: after 12 it fills up with people who work nearby, so I recommend visiting at a different time.
