During my trip to Tokyo, I visited 焼きあご塩らー麺たかはし 銀座店 in Ginza and ordered the Special Grilled Flying Fish Salt Ramen Ochazuke Set. It was absolutely amazing. The grilled flying fish (ago) broth had a deep, smoky aroma with rich umami flavor, yet it was clean and not overly salty. You can really taste the roasted fish essence in every sip. The special version came with generous toppings — tender chashu, perfectly cooked soft-boiled egg, and chewy noodles that paired beautifully with the soup. The highlight was the ochazuke set at the end — pouring the remaining broth over the rice created a second, comforting way to enjoy the meal. It felt like getting two dishes in one. Definitely one of the most memorable ramen experiences from my Tokyo trip. I would gladly come back again next time in Ginza.
View on GoogleOne of the best ramens in Tokyo! We ordered 2 different portions. The smoked aroma is perfect accompanying the broth. And watching the open kitchen is adding to the authentic atmosphere od the place. Thank you very much for the warm perfect meal! It was very joyful, tasty and delicious experience!
View on GoogleThis restaurant may be small, but it delivers a memorable dining experience that makes the wait worthwhile. Because of the limited space, you should expect to spend a bit of time waiting outside before being seated, but the anticipation quickly pays off once the food arrives. The noodles are truly excellent—perfectly cooked with a great texture that holds up beautifully in the soup. What really stands out, though, is the broth. It’s rich, deeply flavorful, and clearly made with care, adding a comforting depth to every bite. You can tell a lot of attention goes into balancing the flavors, and it shows in the final dish. Despite the cozy, no-frills atmosphere, the quality of the food easily competes with much larger and more established spots. The staff works efficiently given the tight space, and the overall experience feels authentic and focused on what matters most: great food. This is the kind of place you don’t mind waiting for because you know something special is coming. I would absolutely go back again, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone who appreciates outstanding noodles and an even better broth.
View on GoogleThis is a ramen shop in Ginza that stays open until the early morning hours and operates multiple locations. Given its Ginza location and late-night to early-morning hours, its biggest strength is how convenient it is to stop by after drinking. In fact, many of the other customers also seemed to be coming in after a night out, and the shop clearly caters well to that demand. This time, I ordered the Back Fat Soy Sauce Ramen (1,050 yen) and the Special Grilled Flying Fish Salt Ramen (1,340 yen). To be honest, the taste was “not bad,” but it wasn’t particularly memorable either. That said, it was solid and reliable. The medium-thick curly noodles were especially good, pairing well with the soup and offering a nice texture. As a bowl of ramen eaten late at night, it strikes a good balance without feeling too heavy. On the other hand, it’s not a place I would go out of my way for just to eat ramen. It’s more a restaurant that’s appreciated when you factor in its location and hours. As a dependable option for a late-night meal after drinking in Ginza, it’s a convenient place to keep in mind.
View on GoogleThe soup is a fish based soup which is rich and salty, very tasty. The noodles were also nice, one of the best we’ve had in Japan. The wait was a bit long around 4 pm on weekend, but worth it. Only downside is that the pork was a bit too chewy/greasy on the sides, so I couldn’t it those parts.
