No-nonsense, subterranean nook offering various types of ramen & a push-button ordering machine.

“Ramen Ichiro” is located in a prime location, a 1-minute walk from Ginza Station. Our signature menus are “Shoyu Ramen” and “Shijimi Ramen” using carefully selected ingredients from Aomori Prefecture such as “Aomori Shamorock”, “Yamato Shijimi from Lake Jusanko”, and “Stamina Gen Tare”. Our “Shoyu Ramen”, which is a mixture of 3 types of soy sauce including Yugeta's Ginjo pure soy sauce and Chiba soy sauce, is a bowl that feels deep. The broth that condenses the umami of grilled flying fish, mackerel flakes, tomatoes, and shiitake mushrooms is also exquisite. In addition, our “Shijimi Ramen” combines “Yamato Shijimi from Lake Jusanko” and “Aomori Shamorock” for a refreshing yet rich taste. Please enjoy a carefully crafted bowl where carefully selected ingredients resonate. Our shop, first...

The restaurant is hidden on a basement level, which added to its old-fashioned and cozy atmosphere. I ordered the ramen and was especially impressed by the flavorful broth and meat. You place your order through a vending machine, receive a ticket, and pass it to the chef. The chef was friendly and welcoming, making the meal feel even more memorable. It was also excellent value, especially in an area where many restaurants can be expensive.

An exceptional place. Don't be fooled by appearances. Once you head down to the basement, stay and try the amazing ramen!!! That’s where the real feast happens!!! There are no white tablecloths, no fancy cuisine. Just gas burners, noodles, and killer broth!!!🔥😎🙉🤯🍜🍜🍜🍜😍😍😍

Delicious ramen, value for your money in Tokyo. Easy going boss, good service but can’t expect too much as shop is in basement and small. Will go back next time.

I have no idea how my husband found this place. It’s tucked away downstairs in a building, and honestly, I never would have found it on my own. My husband and I ordered the clam ramen, while my son got the traditional ramen. The broth was rich, flavorful, and packed with umami. The noodles had a great chewy texture and were cooked perfectly. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the pork. It’s hard to describe, but it had a very strong pork flavor that wasn’t quite to my taste. This is one of those places where you order from a vending machine, get a ticket, and hand it to the chef. The chef was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, the ramen was delicious, especially the broth and noodles, and it’s definitely a hidden gem worth trying.

Ramen Ichiro in Ginza is an absolute price-performance king. The ramen is seriously good, super tasty, and really high quality, especially for the Ginza area. The place is pretty small with only a few seats, so it’s not the best spot for bigger groups. But if you’re solo or with one other person, it’s totally fine. What I really liked was how easy everything was even without speaking Japanese. The owner was super nice and explained how to order at the machine. It even had pictures and an English option, so ordering was no problem at all. Definitely recommend this place if you’re in Ginza and want great ramen for a fair price.
