Breads, light bites & coffee served in a laid-back bakery that also stocks wine & food items.

PARKLET(Park-let /パークレット); a small park, a place to relax. PARKLET is a bakery café offering not only freshly baked bread that makes the most of natural ingredients, but also breakfast, lunch, and dinner using vegetables sourced from farmers with whom we have carefully built relationships. The wide opening facing Horidome Children's Park reflects our wish for everyone—adults, children, dogs, and cats—to feel free to use it as part of the park. Our friendly staff and community welcome you, so that PARKLET can add color to the neighborhood scenery throughout the seasons. Parklet is a place for the public, a s…

A promising café and bakery, but unfortunately the service doesn’t match the price or quality you would expect. We ordered two muffins, two quiches, and two lattes to go because we were in a hurry to catch a train. We were told it would take 5–10 minutes, but ended up waiting around 20 minutes despite the café being far from busy. What made the experience particularly unpleasant was the staff member managing the seating. Several tables remained empty for quite a while, yet she repeatedly told us we couldn’t sit while waiting for our delayed order. At the same time, she wasn’t seating arriving customers efficiently, which seemed to create an unnecessary queue outside on an otherwise quiet morning. Instead of keeping things organized, her approach created confusion and made the atmosphere feel unnecessarily tense and unwelcoming. To make things more confusing, another staff member told us we could sit, only for the first employee to immediately tell us to stand again. Other takeaway customers were meanwhile allowed to wait at tables. Looking through other reviews, it seems that unfriendly service and confusing or inconsistently applied waiting/seating rules have been mentioned by customers for several years, so unfortunately this doesn’t appear to be an isolated experience. The pastries were good and the coffee was fine, but there are plenty of places in Japan offering good food together with genuinely welcoming and efficient service. For us, the overall experience simply wasn’t worth the price, and we wouldn’t return.

Parklet Bakery Nihonbashi has that polished, modern, slightly hippie vibe that instantly makes brunch feel like an experience instead of just a meal. The space feels warm and stylish in a way that makes you want to linger a little longer. I got the avocado toast and loved the artisan bread they used. It tasted like a sourdough or rye base — whatever it was, it had the same texture as the sourdough batard I’m used to in the States. Perfectly toasted, crunchy, and a great base for the toppings. The mix of avo with dukkah was new for me, but it added a really nice flavor that made the whole thing stand out. The yogurt fruit bowl with granola was just as good, and the granola felt like something they make in house with those big chunky clusters that aren’t overly sweet. I’m really glad I made it here, and I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Really nice bakery, super friendly staff and a nice menu. The vanilla cashew butter toast was really good and they have a small range of local beers as well as usual coffees and soft drinks (and a decent selection of wines). Really nice decor and a relaxed vibe.... Also had the potato salad and hummus dishes, would recommend.

a nice cafe next to a park. love the space, very welcoming and unpretentious. they open early and have a breakfast menu. ordered the ricotta toast, very delicious. thick layer of ricotta on very fresh and crunchy toast. the daily brew is great. definitely recommend this cafe if you are looking for a breakfast spot around the area.

We came to a special opening at evening time which was such a pleasant surprise! Food was delicious! The pear lemongrass sour was very tasty and so easy to drink. The service from everyone was excellent, they were so welcoming and warm and we talked about our hometowns. The decor is really cool. The music playlist was such a vibe. Love.
