A stationery shop full of a slightly stylish vibe. Its main store is in Paris. As a stationery lover, I mostly just browse, but it might suit people who don't mind paying a little more. For some reason, there's a huge gacha machine out front, and I asked the staff for permission to photograph it. It's big~. March 2025: A bientot was painted at the entrance, and looking closer, I saw a notice saying they would close in April. What a shame. They sell small items and paper goods, and there are plenty of international tourists around here too. It's a world where decent, fairly run shops struggle to survive.

A stylish paper-goods shop from a European manufacturer that opened in Hamacho. Its distinctive feature is that you can enjoy lunch, sweets, and "Japanese tea" in a space along the side of the shop. There are 2 types of takeaway tea (sencha and oolong, hot or iced. Size options are available for hot tea only). Apparently, all the teas in the photo are always available if you drink inside. In keeping with the season, they were selling planners for next year. The photo shows size L. 400円 before tax. The aroma is lovely, so the lid is a pity, but there's plenty of loose tea added directly to the cup (I was surprised at first when little leaves came out through the opening). After getting home, I added hot water and enjoyed a second infusion. ^ ^

They have lots of selected goods you don't often see elsewhere, which feels refreshing. The casual atmosphere makes it easy to drop in.

I visited this shop to buy モヘイム tableware as a celebratory gift. The tableware selection was good, and it was nice to see the actual items before buying, but when I requested gift wrapping, it took a very long time and the result was awful. Specifically, the wrapping was misshapen as though a child had done it, the folds were sticking up, and double-sided tape was visible through the gaps. Several pieces of double-sided tape still had their backing paper on, making me wonder why they had even been stuck there. On top of that, the contents were oriented incorrectly: the top and bottom of the wrapping didn't match those of the box inside, which I think would feel odd to receive as a gift. When purchasing, I asked whether gift wrapping was available and was told yes, for ¥220, so I requested it, but the result wasn't worth ¥220 at all. It felt as though the staff member who helped me had probably never received any instruction in gift wrapping. If that was the only wrapping they could do, I would rather they hadn't accepted the request in the first place. If you're going to charge for wrapping, I'd want you to practice properly beforehand. Because the shop had a nice atmosphere and a good tableware selection, the terrible wrapping was truly disappointing. It would be fine for purchases for your own home, but I don't think I'll ever buy gifts from this shop again.
