On our last night in Tokyo we were looking for something a little different (you can only eat so much sushi and ramen). This little Italian osteria was perfect! Some of the best Italian I've had in a while. The atmosphere was a little taste of Italy and the food excellently prepared.
View on GoogleGreat Italian food in Tokyo. Really enjoyed the pasta arrabbiata, and the pesto pasta was great - a welcome palate change. Best chocolate lava cake ever!

View on GoogleIf you find yourself walking through the quaint streets of Kiyosumi shiwakawa in the search of good coffee, stop for lunch at Osteria Ci Verdiamo. The chef and proprietor is an effortlessly cool Japanese man with a flair for excellent food. We ordered the crapes salad, the cooked shrimp, the fish of the day, the puttanesca and the crème brulé and pistachio ice cream - each dish was better than the one before it. The restaurant was teaming with locals from the area coming in to get the lunch special of the day. If you are looking for an Italian in Tokyo then look no further - this is the place for you!
