I only used the gym, so here's the gym review: It's small! At first glance, not too bad. One floor of cardio and one floor of weights. However, as soon as there are more than 4 people on the same floor, the space feels very cramp. The weight area barely has enough room for everybody to manoeuvre. You need to constantly watch out for others. And the dents and bumps on the wall are telling you stories of prior accidents. For about 2800 yen, I wouldn't say this is a great deal.

Amazing staff, everything was super clean, I could get a day pass for 2800 yen which is fair because there are so many things included. I loved it so much and if I have time I'll come back

Overall, I loved working out here, being a foreigner, it was difficult to find somewhere affordable to work out in Tokyo. But Obi fitness offered a day pass for around £13, and the staff were always very kind and friendly, always offering towels, use of the showers/changing rooms too. It’s a very low-key and chilled space for a more private workout! I recommend this over any public gym such as Anytime Fitness!

The staff at obi fitness was very kind and very friendly. The place itself is at the same time a hostel, a café, a restaurant, and a fitness gym. You can use the gym on itself on a day per day basis from 09:00 to 22:00, but it can also be used 24/7 if you stay in the hostel for a small extra. I strongly recommend this place, and I will stay there the next time I come to Tokyo !

A small but well equipped community gym that manages to avoid the incredibly tedious and unnecessary restrictions of typical Japanese fitness centers. It's not necessary to "reserve" equipment here, and the general atmosphere is very friendly/open. There are 2 squat racks, a full cable machine, 3 additional open benches (2 of which are incline), and a nice assortment of non-freeweight machines (legpress, shoulder press, lat pulldown, etc.) While it is small, it is never "too" busy and the current # of users is updated hourly on their Instagram page. Pro's -Very laidback -Ok for foreigners -Clean -Well equipped -Great pricing compared to other places in JP Con's -A bit small -Racks only include a single set of 20kg plates -Dumbbells only go up to 30kg -For some reason, they rack the weights in a very strange way that's hard to understand, but this may just be a Japan thing... Pro's far outweigh the cons here. Highly recommend this place.
