日本橋だし場 はなれNihonbashi Dashi Bar Hanare
Compact, understated restaurant specializing in seafood, plus desserts & craft gins.
This restaurant is operated by 株式会社にんべん, a katsuobushi specialist in 日本橋, Tokyo, founded in 1699 (the twelfth year of Genroku). We offer a range of dishes that draw on the “katsuobushi” and “dashi umami” that “にんべん” has cultivated over more than three hundred and twenty years. 日本橋, Tokyo, was the starting point of the five major highways in the Edo period. It combines a business district supporting Japan's economy with culture that still conveys the spirit of Edo today. Like relaxing and wearing a fine kimono with effortless style, we have arranged the restaurant and prepared our dishes so you can enjoy authentic quality more casually while preserving the traditions and essential character unique to にんべん.

Very good place for traditional Japanese meals using dashi. The prices are reasonable for the high quality of the food. Very nice lunch spot.
View on GoogleThe quality of the food here is really good, it’s a lovely place in Nihonbashi to get healthy Japanese food, and the restaurant is quite spacious and does not feel cramped. We got to sit by the window and it was lovely. We ordered the set with vegetables, which was delicious and filling. Loved the small dishes and the bonito flakes was a nice touch. The only disappointment was the attitude of the staff, 2 of them who were quite rude which we were surprised about. They’re probably busy and under pressure, but it was not a pleasant experience.
View on GoogleHappen to pass by while looking at the Sakura trees along road. Saw a short queue and decided to join and try the set meals. Dashi Takikomi Gohan light fragrance with umami on its own and tasted as good after adding in dashi stock. Pork belly with daikon in light sweet soy based sauce also tasted delicious and simmered tender. Great service and ambience despite full house especially the seats with view on the Sakura trees outside. Despite some lower than average rating which almost stopped me from trying this my actual experience is great and the lunch crowd speaks of its quality/value.
View on GoogleA very relaxed place where you can have nice Japanese dishes chazuke or warabi-mochi in a stress free atmosphere. Particularly good if you want to have an afternoon stop outside the "regular meal" hours.
View on GoogleGreat place if you appreciate dashi and tsukemono (pickles). Been here a few times and it never disappoints - the ochatsuke is excellent, and always creative. The price is maybe a touch steep for such fare though you have to take into account the location/rent. Definitely a go to place to satisfy my miso soup and ochatsuke cravings.
