Counter seats face the chefs at this snug joint dishing up soy-based ramen with handmade noodles.

Tokyo『麺や七彩』 We aim to create a bowl that will endure for 100 years. We serve ramen with 『freshly made』 noodles, starting from flour only after an order comes in. We began by pursuing delicious Kitakata ramen, but it has now completely evolved into Tokyo ramen. We believe the star of ramen is the 『noodles』. We are convinced that by always remaining curious and repeatedly preserving and challenging the status quo, new knowledge and culture can be created and take root. We will continue working to offer products suited to the times, so our customers can enjoy comfortable dining, service, and moving experiences. We ask for your continued supp…

The best vegan ramen in the whole of Japan. It is super freshly made. And apt spicy! Although the menu outside does not show the vegan option in english, they have in ticketing machine. The machine accepts only cash or IC card. This is so good! The non-vegan version is also super good! Highly recommend! There might be some waiting time, but worth the wait!

The freshly made chewy noodles were so flavorful. The broth was rich and yet not over powering. The toppings complimented it really well. Wonderful place, lots of seating and light. Really enjoyed it. Being able to watch them make the bodies while you eat is wonderful.

I’d been curious about the counter-style ramen at Menya Shichisai, and it ended up being a fun way to wrap up a trip in Tokyo. Even with a small group, we had to split up for seating after a short wait, but it was still worth it. The whole setup felt efficient and a little different from the usual ramen spot, which made the stop memorable.

This was a very high quality meal and I am grateful I found this place. We happened to arrive pretty much right as they opened, so we had no trouble securing seating along the bar as we watched the masters prepare our food To order is a machine by the door with pictures and kanji which will present a ticket after payment. The food was delicious, I ordered the special ramen and it was simply delicious and very filling. The staff were lovely, everyone was a pleasure and were quick to assist. Atmosphere is very fun - watching the noodles we were about to eat literally rolled in front of us was a delight A very good dining experience

Please choose Kitakata Ramen (Soy sauce flavor, 1,250 yen) plus Ajitama, Seasoned Egg (200 yen) The noodles had a wonderfully chewy texture and were delicious. It took about 30 minutes from lining up to getting my ramen, as it was a popular spot during the weekday lunch rush.
