it’s such a cute and creative concept! this is the only komeda branch that is entirely vegan, so we had to stop by during our trip, especially since it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the main shopping area in ginza. ordering is done through a tablet. we came in at 9 pm, and they closed at 10 pm, with the last order at 9:30 pm. we ordered the mentaiko cream pasta, soy ham katsu sando, and coffee jelly ice cream. it’s hard to believe everything was completely vegan because each dish was executed so well. the mentaiko pasta in particular had a surprisingly similar flavor to the original, according to my companion. the atmosphere is also very relaxing. the interior is inspired by nature, and they even have subtle fog effects that make it feel like you’re dining in a forest. i also appreciated the selection of books and magazines, some of which introduce vegan culture in japan. our only regret was not being able to come back for a second visit during our trip. there were still so many dishes we wanted to try. they also offer a stamp card that gives you discounts on future visits, so be sure to pick one up if you plan on coming back more than once.
View on GoogleSo good we came back the next day!! The best fluffy pancakes my wife and i have ever tried, it tastes so creamy, buttery and rich - we were doubting that it was fully vegan! We also ordered a Katsu Sando and it tasted like heaven, perfect crisp, toasted but soft bread and sauces to balance the flavours, we could not have enough. I didn’t get a photo but on our second trip we also ordered the Spicy burger and it was soo good. They do the simple things like their buns and creams really well so when you add them into a burger it just explodes in your mouth. We could not have enough of this place. Hope they expand throughout Japan.
View on GoogleAmazing vegan food and service. We ordered so much food and everything was delicious. The service was welcoming and accommodating and such a peaceful environment. Special note for the tofu fritters that were extra crispy and came with three dipping sauces that were incredible. The pancakes were also perfect and were so fluffy. The plant based shironoir was also so good, loved the ice cream on top. Is a must go for any vegan visiting Japan or in the area.
View on GoogleIt’s amazing. We have been going every day for breakfast for the last 3 days and will go the next two days too. We have also been for dinner and dessert. A favorite of ours is the salad, the pancakes, ice cream, coffee with ice cream and ‘chicken’ burger. Also love the drink toast set with minestrone soup. Highly recommend! Also it’s so nice to have an oat milk tea here (I was struggling to find one elsewhere). Staff are very lovely and service is excellent.
View on GoogleVery nice vegan cafe in Ginza. The staff is really good and helpful. The food was amazing, and the coffee was one of the best ones. Located in a very upscale area and thus a bit expensive but totally worth the price. The vegan pancakes were quite delicious.
