Bests sushi’s I’ve tasted. There is no way to deny it. Good chefs !! They speak English. That being said, the most expensive I’ve ever seen for sushis. I’ve never seen a restaurant in Tokyo that showed prices without taxes. 10% taxes ? It seems to me that the menu were designed for foreigners. 42240¥ for 2, with 2 menus (cheapest), 1 beer and 2 sake. The chef are really good, the rest of the staff not so good… we wanted water that never came… we didn’t ask for the bill and the old lady requested it on a paper she showed to our face at 9:10 for a closure at 9:30.
View on GoogleI love love this restaurant; the restaurant is literally underrated. It was the highlight of our trip. We went for lunch and I highly recommend booking (you could try concierge booking with your hotel). The sushi were fine quality and fresh. the last dish (tuna sushi) was next level. Simple yet fatty and melted in my mouth. We spent less than 30min from the moment we were seated and paid of the bill. Overall, outstanding! Definitely be back before it gets popular...
View on GoogleThis legendary sushi restaurant is probably the most refined sushi experience I’ve had. The chef had an amazing skills and the quality of the fish are just top notch. Atmosphere is cosy and traditional and the service is impeccable. Will definitely be back.
View on GoogleOne of the best sushi restaurant I ate in Japan! Somehow can tell that the Chef prepared all his sushi with customers in his heart, wholeheartedly, in gentle zen and grace, yet professional, skilful and dynamic. It’s such enjoyable just watching them create their sushi. Sushi is of course supper delicious, with abundance feelings of love in it. English menu available. Very comfortable eating here even though I speak no Japanese. Must book when you are in Tokyo. 96 years of establishment!
View on GoogleA true Edo-style sushi experience. Kizushi keeps things traditional with a no-frills, old-school atmosphere and expertly crafted nigiri. The fish is fresh, the rice is perfectly seasoned, and the balance of flavors is spot on. It’s a place for those who appreciate classic sushi without modern twists. Cash only and no frills, but an absolute gem for sushi purists.
