Kitsuneya is a must-visit in Tsukiji Market. The service is incredibly fast, the staff is friendly, and the food comes out almost immediately after ordering. The menu is simple, with only two main items served alongside tea, allowing them to focus on quality and efficiency. Prices are extremely affordable, especially considering the location and popularity. The line can get quite long, but don't let that discourage you—it moves very quickly. A great spot for a delicious and authentic market meal.
View on GoogleIve always seen a line here and finally decided to try it. We got the horumon bowl over rice as it looked more appealing than the beef. Price was reasonable. Taste? I wouldn’t line up for it again. I’m glad I experienced it once.
View on GoogleYou need to get here at 8am else the crowd will start piling up! The gyudon was light and delicious but due to my excitement, I didn’t even had an egg added to my bowl! I should have also tried the equally famous offal bowl.
View on GoogleSolid everything, that staff was super nice and there is english menus at the order counter. You do not see a lot of Western folk so I stood out like a sore thumb for this beef intestine delight. For 1000 yen you get a beef bowl with rice and an egg of your choice. This is the best beef bowl I have had in Japan hands down. Get in early as there is a line all day until they close. I do suspect they have been using the same pot of flavor for thousands of years as and recommend trying it all and the line moves fast. They only allow orders as seats become available so don't worry they are making sure there is a seat for you before you get your food.
View on GoogleThis is a shop that serves the taste of a bygone era. I tried their beef offal rice bowl once 10 years ago, and today I visited again. It’s just as delicious as ever—only the number of customers has multiplied many times over.
