First time trying seafood Donburi in Japan. It was so good!!! We recommend the negitoro, salmon roe and sea urchin bowl. They also gave free tea to go with your meal.
View on GoogleMy wife and I stumbled into this tiny donburi shop in Tsukiji Market for a delicious lunch. The staff didn't speak much English, but they were very friendly and communicated well. We each had a different seafood donburi dish that included generous bowls of fresh miso soup. The dishes were simple but packed with flavor; anything with tuna is highly recommended! Note that like most places in Tsukiji, this shop was cash-only.
View on GoogleJones is so friendly and charismatic. We had a wonderful conversation and enjoyed a few drinks. Kanno Sushi Cafe is the perfect place to grab a beer or a bite to eat while exploring tsujiki.
View on GoogleThe place is popular for tourists. very busy place famous for fishes and fresh sea food.
View on GoogleAn old-school cheap seafood bowl shop From 700 yen you can eat till you're stuffed. When I asked which ones are big, cheap, and recommended, they said the most popular tuna bowl, the tuna and salmon bowl, and the negitoro bowl. Plus it comes with miso soup and a free large portion! The thick-cut tuna and salmon are the best. It all comes down to one word: simply delicious! If you're a tourist, other shops with more sashimi might be better, but if you want a quick, cheap taste of Tsukiji, you should definitely come. It was a friendly, lively shop. Reviews also said the food comes out slowly, but when I went it was ready in about 3 minutes (when there were few customers because of COVID). If it's crowded, of course I think it'll be slow. Only 14 reviews? Way too few! Work harder, Google Local Guides!! Ps. You pay upfront
