Founded in 2019, this matcha specialty shop offers the highest-quality matcha sourced 100% from Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture. The association [matcha = tea ceremony] often makes it seem somewhat intimidating, but we offer a wide range of menu items that let you enjoy matcha as a wonderful ingredient. For takeaway, casually enjoy drinks made generously with authentic Uji matcha and sweets that go beyond Japanese styles in the terrace's free-use space. In a secret tea room hidden from outside view, you can savor single origin matcha that almost never reaches the general market. Unblended single origin matcha lets you enjoy the differences between cultivars. Honzu cultivation and hand-picking practiced for over 400 years…

Excellent matcha spot with a great selection of drinks and desserts. The matcha is rich, authentic, and made with high-quality Uji matcha. The staff was friendly and service was quick. A perfect place for matcha lovers, whether you’re looking for a refreshing drink or a sweet treat. Definitely worth a visit! 🍵💚

JAN 2026 Made a reservation in advance for the private tea room which can seat up to four people. If you come alone, you can have the tea room all to yourself. I pre-ordered the matcha parfait and chose the matcha tasting experience which gives you the option to choose two single origin Uji matcha out of the five different ones they have. The parfait was brought out to me first and then the staff proceeded to whisk the two matcha drinks. I had the organic Asahi and the premium Samidori matcha which had subtle differences in taste; one was more rich and bitter and the other one was smooth and balanced. The parfait was pretty good with close to ten different components; the raspberry sauce is a little too tart for me but the rest including the ice cream, matcha pudding and matcha crunch chocolate were tasty. Although it was quite expensive especially if you choose the matcha tasting experience with premium single origin matcha, it was nice to enjoy some quiet time in a small cosy private tea room.

Came here about 7 pm on a Friday night in early July. It was not too crowded as they close at 8 pm. If you enjoy single origin uji-grown matcha, this is the place. Otherwise, it may just taste like grass.

We visited Ippuku & Matcha to try their matcha lattes and sweets. The matcha lattes were really nice and high quality, smooth and well-balanced. We also tried the cheesecake, but it was a bit disappointing and didn’t meet our expectations. Still, the matcha drinks make this a worthwhile stop if you’re in the area.

Really tasty matcha lattes and croissants. The matcha chocolate melted within the croissant was sooo delicious! Everything was beautifully presented as well, and service was quick.
