A quiet oasis in Ginza with two floors to relax amongst books. WiFi is available and saw laptop work being done. I ordered decaf, but I left feeling jittery as if I drank caffeine. I loved the library like atmosphere as it’s excellent for focus work or some rejuvenating down time, but I may need to get tea next time.
View on GoogleThis cafe has a lot of books that you can read and purchase (mostly in Japanese). You can also bring your own book here and enjoy reading it with their matcha. Talking is allowed but keep the voice small to not bother other. Place your order at the first floor and you can sit at first or second floor. Restroom is available.
View on GoogleWonderful little cafe 🩷 delicious apple pie! Fairly small but quiet and comfortable to get away from the city hustle.
View on Google1. Staff flipping the menu vigorously to English as soon as i reached the cashier. 2. I ordered in Japanese but she replied to me in English. 3. Finally i switched channel to English then she laughed at me. Literally showing her laughing face directly in front of me !! 4. No matter what i asked in Japanese, she just didn't bother to answer back and took out the phone to show Google translate. And asking quite rudely: where are you from? 5. The chocolate fountain cake is not same as the picture anymore smaller and like those readymade from supermarket and not fresh, not tasty at all. The cocoa is also just so cheap and like from those coffee machine. 6. The environment is old and when people talking, since the low ceiling is trapping sounds, can be quite uncomfortable. No worth the price and visit. Many more nice book cafes in Tokyo
View on GoogleCalm and thoughtfully curated space. The staff is warm and welcoming. In the morning, it's quiet with just a few people – perfect to read, work or take a break. They offer a wide selection of inspiring books on self-development and practical spirituality, free to read while you're there. Coffee was good, not outstanding. Toilets are upstairs on the second floor.
