“とじないカツ丼” is a new way to eat katsudon, which had remained unchanged for 116 years. By “laying” the egg underneath rather than “binding” the cutlet with it, you can enjoy the tonkatsu's crispiness to the very end. The tonkatsu uses domestically raised branded pork and is fried until crisp in carefully selected fat. Our secret sauce, crafted with particular attention to its gloss and viscosity, further enhances the harmony of tonkatsu, rice, and egg. Please enjoy our carefully crafted katsudon. "Tojinai Katsudon" is a new way to eat katsudon, which has remained unchanged for 116 years.…

I had a great experience at Happiness Tonkatsu Restaurant. The katsu was absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. The egg was cooked just right, and the rice complemented everything beautifully. You can really tell that every component of the dish is prepared with care and precision. The staff were kind, friendly, and very attentive, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is quite small, with only around 8 seats available, but that adds to its cozy and intimate atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic spot for tonkatsu lovers—definitely worth a visit!

It was a pleasant eating experience overall. Came late at night when it was an hour to their closing time. Ordered using a qr code and the food arrived quick. Communicating with the chef and the owner himself was not a struggle, mainly with the help of online translator, it was quite smooth to ask them questions. Portion was just right, there are options for small/large as well. Would recommend others to have a quick filling meal here, the meat is thick and tender. Smaller counter sitting type of eatery, suitable for single/couples.

We went there early as they were only opening and we didnt wait in line that long. The staffs are friendly and they only accept cashless payment. They have a qr code for ordering on your phone which is very convenient and they are tourist friendly too. The katsus are fried to perfection while still being juicy and soft. They also have a large serving so better to eat here when you are really hungry.

My last day in Tokyo I wanted to get some amazing Katsudon and I made the best choice EVER by going here! Amazing food, top notch service, I went around 30 minutes within opening time and when I left there was already a line outside for good reason! As my last meal in Japan, I made the right choice with this AMAZING food :)

Perfect for solo travelers looking for something quick and incredibly great tasting for the price. Affordable, fast, and the waitstaff is very friendly. Limited drink options; tea, water, and a beer, but overall amazing. Wait time depends on guests inside, but the wait is not long!
