I can't resist medicinal cuisine. I got the glass noodle soup + meat rice? set. I thought since it's glass noodles the portion wouldn't be enough, but that wasn't the case. With the small meat rice it was just the right amount. I chose spice level 1, but it wasn't that spicy. Even people who aren't good with spicy food can handle it. The soup had a gentle flavor and was delicious too.

A medicinal soup shop operating on B1 of Tokyo Square Garden in Kyobashi. This time I ordered the medicinal soup glass noodle set with 2 chicken meatballs. For the set's choice of medicinal keema curry OR medicinal pork rice, I went with the medicinal pork rice. The medicinal soup glass noodles come topped with bean sprouts plus several kinds of leafy greens, looking a lot like Vietnamese pho. The soup apparently uses around 20 kinds of Chinese herbal spices, such as ginseng, licorice, jujube, star anise, dried tangerine peel, and goji berries. But there's no weird medicinal taste — it's light, with a little heat, and delicious. It seems all the ingredients used here are domestically sourced. It's not just medicinal cuisine — this is a place thoroughly committed to safety and health.

Eating spicy food makes it hard to taste anything else, so I want to avoid it, but having no spice at all is boring, so I ordered spice level “0.5”. The set of “Medicinal Soup Noodles ‘Zen Pasta’” and (small) medicinal keema curry came to 1,400 yen. Both the toppings and the soup had deep flavor and were delicious. The cilantro was fragrant and plentiful, very satisfying. The amount of noodles and the rice in the (small) curry were more than enough for such a stylish-looking place. I was so satisfied that I added a coffee (220 yen) to the set instead of getting a 100-yen convenience store coffee. The staff were pleasant and kind even to a middle-aged guy dining alone — I really like this place. I'll be a regular.

I wanted to eat something healthy! So I had the medicinal soup glass noodles at ハオツァイ in Tokyo Square Garden. For extra toppings I got the recommended arugula and chicken meatballs, plus black cabbage as the vegetable of the day. Piled high with toppings, and the medicinal soup warms you right up◎ I've been overeating lately, so these low-carb, low-calorie glass noodles were a blessing~. I got the set, so it came with medicinal pork rice and medicinal curry too. The medicinal curry isn't too spicy but has a solid spice flavor — delicious!! Finally I had a cheese tart and an egg tart for dessert. They were served piping hot, and since the meal was fairly guilt-free, I felt like having dessert was fine. lol They've got infection prevention measures well in place, and the appeal is being able to eat calmly without crowding. It's directly connected to the station, so it was perfect for grabbing a quick dinner before heading home◎
