The soup-less tantan-men might look simple from the photo, but this is seriously my favorite restaurant in the whole Ningyocho area after trying many of them. I ordered the option that came with pork slices and it was some of the best tasting pork I’ve ever had in my life, let alone in ramen. The sauce is rich and the noodles are delicious. You have to order what level of spice you want. The standard is level 2 and it was a bit more mild than I needed, so I want to try the higher level next time. Though you can make it hotter yourself with condiments at the table. Definitely come here if you are in the area. Update: adding a photo of the level 3 spice soupless tantanmen

If you like seseme this will hit the spot nicely. Definitely great for cold days. A very rich and deep taste that differentiates itself from most other ramen. Help yourself with generous servings of complimentary pickles to cut the fat.

Chicken ramen ..which is very less available in Tokyo area…taste , quantity…, presentation..everything is so amazing….must eat ramen

As a regular customer of the Kamiyacho location (now relocated to Tokyo Tower). I can say with assurance that quality of the soupless tantanmen is consistent at this location. I recommend spending a little extra to get the pork and also ordering an onsen tamago to mix into the noodles to give the sauce more volume. Gold Scorpion is the best. I can’t eat tantanmen anywhere else!

I didn’t expect it was that good.One of the best ramen I ever had in Japan.The girl with long hair brown color is polite and good at service.Overall it was one of the best experience and the best service I ever had!
