The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English, and the udon was easily some of the best I’ve ever had! My advice: order whatever they recommend—you really can’t go wrong. Just be prepared for a long queue, as the daily portions are limited and tickets run out quickly. The restaurant opens at 5:30 p.m., and when I arrived at 5:38 p.m., I was already number 33 in line. By 5:50 p.m., all the queue numbers had been distributed for the day. We ordered the set menu so we could try both the hot and cold udon. While both were delicious, I personally preferred the cold udon. The texture was absolutely divine—perfectly chewy and incredibly satisfying. If they sell take-home packs, be sure to grab some before you leave!

Delicious Authentic Udon Restaurant We arrived around 9:50 AM to join the waitlist. Around 10:15 AM, we were able to add our names to the list (number 15). We received an email notification around 12:00 PM. We arrived at 12:15 PM and were seated at 12:20 PM. We ordered the Hanayama set with flat noodles, udon with soup, and mixed udon I really enjoyed hanayama set with flat noodle When I chewed the noodle, the feeling of the bouncy, soft noodle glided right on my tongue and the umami, savory sauce blended perfectly with the noodles, with a perfect touch of green onions that sparked freshness. They served cold tea? Also very good!!

Came on Tuesday afternoon, they sell out at around 2:30pm. The taste was amazing, my grandma said it was the best meal she’s had on our entire visit to Tokyo. It was very comforting and palatable, and the udon texture was amazing. The cold udon was also chewy and delicious. The price is so cheap and there is no service charge. The service was amazing. You can only be seated when all members of your party are present, and we only came after 2 of our family members already went inside. The queue was already closed, but the staff still let us in, and even seated us next to our family! They also served our food before the other guests that came in before us. The staff are quite fluent in english and are friendly to foreigners! Would come back again!

I have tried this restaurant’s other location before so I knew it’s delicious. This location is no exception. During this visit, I tried the mentaiko cream udon which seems like it’s some sort of secret item, as their physical menu doesn’t have it. However, it was absolutely delicious and the wide udon is perfect to carry the rich and creamy sauce. I really enjoy this place’s unique take on udon.

it was so good. the noodles were so chewy 🤯 i, being a sesame lover, thoroughly enjoyed the sesame dipping sauce! the waitresses were also very fluent in english. however, the wait is long, so you should come early to get a queue number with a QR code before going to shop in the vicinity one thing that was a pity was they didn’t serve any complimentary drinks, not even water. it seemed like they did a few years back, but they’ve since removed it and it seems they’ve increased the price of the meal by quite a bit
