This place serves a very high quality specialty coffee. Probably the best tasting pour-over I had in a long time. Very good beans. Very good brew. Fruity notes do not have sour hint. Very sweet and balanced. All beans that I tried had floral and/or fruity notes. They roast their own. Can't comment on chocolate/nutty side. All beans I saw were medium or medium-light roast. Smell and taste are exquisite. A higher price than other good specialty coffee shops in the vicinity, probably 50-100% more. But the quality reflects it. The wait time is typical for Tokyo. Staff make sure you get the beans that work for you, they walk through the beens currently available and ensure you know what you're picking. If you're lucky enough to find a seat, the shop interior is pretty cool to study, whilst you're sipping the best coffee you had in a long time.
View on GoogleIf you’re a coffee lover, this is the place for you. The time, preparation, and care they put into making your cup(s) of coffee is seriously impressive. If you’re in a hurry, this is not the coffee place for you, but if you have the time, and you’re someone who appreciates a business taking time, pride, and effort into their food/drink preparation this is a very cool experience. It’s also a plus that they’ve curated a fun and trendy interior to add to the overall vibe. This location opens at 8, and when we arrived at 7:50 there was already a little bit of a line, but nothing too bad. By the time we left, the line had grown, and I’d estimate people were going to wait for 15-20 minutes for their coffee Be careful with some of the beans as they are “high quality” - we had friends who accidentally spent $75 on two cups of coffee
View on GoogleGlitch has a few outlets, but this flagship is the one to visit if you want to enjoy your coffee while seated and avoid the Ginza crowd. I love the energy, aesthetic, and friendly service in this store. The staffs are passionate and welcoming, they help to guide me to choose my beans. While they’re famous for light roast and filter, they can make milk based coffee as well. The tasting menu I had was an absolute treat that I would order again anytime. They have exceptionally high-quality beans!
View on GoogleAmazing specialty coffee experience! I had the Milan (April) served iced, and it was fantastic. The tasting notes of apricot, cherry, and plum really came through. It was bright, sweet, and incredibly smooth with a clean finish. This one is infused beans so make sure you know what you’re ask for. What made the visit even better was the staff. They were very professional, friendly, and happy to explain each coffee in detail. They also speak English well, so it is a great spot for international visitors. They even give you a beautiful tasting card with all the details about your coffee. I was traveling alone and Luna, one of the newer staffs, came up to me and kept me company. She gave me more details about the other products Glitch had and I couldn’t stop myself from purchasing two other bags of beans when I walked out. Highly recommend for anyone who loves single origin coffee brewed by hand. A must visit in Tokyo!
View on GoogleVisited this place with some friends after lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There was a small line when we arrived, but we were able to place our orders and find seats within about 15 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all. The selection of coffee beans was excellent. Each one had its own distinct characteristics, and every cup we tried was enjoyable in its own way. The quality of the coffee felt well matched to the price, making it good value for what you get. This place is definitely well known and gets a lot of hype, but in this case, I think it’s justified. The coffee, atmosphere, and overall experience lived up to expectations. It’s definitely a coffee shop I’d happily visit again.
