Sato Yosuke's Inaniwa udon is a one-of-a-kind taste backed by more than three hundred years of history. "Ginza Sato Yosuke" is a directly managed shop where you can enjoy the same taste as in its home of Akita. Besides kiritanpo hot pot and Yosuke's special Inaniwa udon-suki, the creative Inaniwa kaiseki courses featuring Akita ingredients such as hatahata, Hinai-jidori chicken, and mountain vegetables are also popular.

A nice udon experience that gives you a taste from Akita prefecture. You get to try Inaniwa noodles, which are thinner and a a bit chewier. The udon was presented nicely, and the two sauces, especially the sesame one, were delicious. The ambiance was nice and the service fast and friendly. You can get udon to take home too.

If you’re looking for a refined udon experience in Ginza, Sato Yosuke Ginza delivers something quite special. Quite a hidden gem and mostly locals. Queue is estimated 40mins during peak hours. The highlight here is the Inaniwa udon — noticeably thinner than your usual udon, with an incredibly smooth, silky texture that just glides down. It’s light, elegant, and surprisingly addictive. The cold dipping version really stands out, especially with the soy-based or sesame sauces that bring out different layers of flavour. Tempura on the side is crisp and well-executed, though the real star remains the noodles. Portions look modest but are actually just right, leaving you satisfied without feeling heavy. Service matches the Ginza setting — attentive, calm, and polished. You might get small touches like hot towels or even udon snacks while waiting, which adds to the experience. Be prepared for a short queue during peak hours, but turnover is fairly quick.

It’s a slightly fancy restaurant, and you can buy souvenirs there. 🍴Order You can scan the QR code to order. 🪑seat They have tables for 2 or 4 people. 🍜udon noodle type These udon noodles are a bit thinner than regular ones, and they’re nicely firm but not as chewy as Sanuki udon. 🐟Soup The regular sauce has a strong soy sauce and bonito flavor, and it goes well with these udon noodles because they’re not too salty. The sesame sauce is creamy, and you can enjoy it even if you don’t like fishy or soy‑sauce‑heavy flavors. 🍺Beer〇 One of the staff had sloth nails, which was a bit disappointing.

my friend and i got the dipping udon tempura set. i might be biased because we were very hungry and also because it was our last meal in tokyo but this was SO DELICIOUS!!🍜 the udon texture was so good omg😭 and i love the dipping broths. there are two given, the normal soya dipping broth and a sesame broth that i havent tried before. its hard to pick a favourite, both are honestly equally good, but the sesame dipping broth was more novel to me! i expected the sesame broth to be thick and creamy but it was in fact quite thin and even a little refreshing! the tempura was yummy too! not the best tempura ive had but pretty good. they gave us udon chips as an appetiser and it was so yummy and interesting (nothing like ive eaten before!) i gave it a 4 because i wish more tempura was given 🥲 we went right when the store open so we did not have to queue! not sure how the queue will be like later on.

Great udon restaurant for a quick bite (once you are inside). I have been here twice on two separate trips, because the restaurant is conveniently located if you are shopping in Ginza. Both times I was lucky that the line wasn't long. I have seen long queues there before. I have tried the udon with tempura and dipping sauces, the red curry udon and the kitsune udon. This is also how I would rank them - my favourite being the tempura and the curry a close second. I thoroughly enjoy the udon here, they have just the right texture and a nice flavour. I also bought a whole kilogram to take home and will surely return on my next trip. The service and ambience is suitable for this type of restaurant. The staff is friendly and the main room is quite busy. I prefer to sit in the back rooms at the horigotatsu.
