Phenomenal Tsukemen and Ramen in Ginza! If you are looking for a truly stellar noodle experience in Tokyo, Ginza Oborodzuki is an absolute must-visit. We ordered their two heavy-hitters and both were masterclasses in flavor. Special Tsukemen: This is the star of the show. The dipping broth is incredibly rich, thick, and packed with deep, savory umami that clings perfectly to the thick, chewy noodles. It comes beautifully topped with two distinct types of tender chashu pork, a perfectly jammy seasoned egg, and seaweed. Every bite is intense and deeply satisfying. Chuka Soba: A beautiful contrast to the heavy tsukemen. It features a clear, nostaglic Niboshi (dried sardine) broth that is clean, refined, and deeply comforting. The flat, curly noodles have a fantastic texture that carries the broth beautifully. The shop is small and intimate, offering an authentic, top-tier ramen experience right in the heart of Ginza. Highly recommended!

The soup has very great umami but the egg, clams and meat are quite stale. Meat is super dry and dry You couldn’t even chew because it’s too dry in the lean part, especially after they torched it. It’s pretty pitiful as they have amazing soup and chewy& elastic noodles! Octopus is super chewy and fresh, but, on the other hand, clams are super super stinky and stale. You couldn’t even finish it because it’s too disgusting with lotta fragments of shell inside, which is super annoying and disturbing when you are savoring it. They don’t speak English because almost 90%of guests here are locals !!! The amount is huge so it’s nice for hungry ppl. However if you want perfect ramen …you have lotta much better choices in Tokyo

The noodles were good, but this was the noisiest restaurant I have ever been to. The staff handled bowls, spoons, ice, and utensils extremely roughly. Everything was slammed around loudly, even when serving the bowl right in front of me. The constant sudden banging sounds made the whole dining experience unbearable. I could not relax, I lost my appetite, and I left without finishing my meal. Good food does not excuse such a terrible dining environment.

Loved this tsukemen 10 years ago, still loving it now. Thought the shop moved/ closed a few years back but was sooo happy to find that it reopened and managed to get a meal in here during this trip. For someone that loves tsukemen, the broth is well flavoured without being salty (something we find quite common in other tsukemen). The noodles have a perfect springy bite and the char siew was also fantastic. I highly recommend this to all my friends.

With only seven seats, Oborodzuki offers an intimate and coveted dining experience. Be prepared for a wait during peak hours. We arrived around 8 PM and were luckily to be seated immediately. The rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles make the popular tsukemen absolutely worth the wait. It's a small spot with a big flavor payoff.
