Cozy, long-running curry spot, with a pink interior & colorful murals, known for vegetarian options.

We have remained committed to domestically sourced ingredients: vegetables from Hokkaido, rice from Iwate Prefecture, and chicken from Aomori Prefecture. Enjoyed the signature Murgi Lunch after a Kabuki show. The chicken is simmered for 7 hours. It’s really delicious and the way it is shredded at the table is so good. Staff are really friendly. Look forward to visiting again soon. Nair’s opened in 1949 being the first Indian restaurant in Japan

This was, without exaggeration, the worst dining experience of my life. I ordered a chicken curry and a coriander salad, and both were absolute garbage. The curry looked and tasted like watery vomit. The chicken was stale, discolored, stringy, and poorly chopped with bones still attached, resulting in tiny, dangerous bone fragments hidden throughout the dish that tore up my mouth and left it bleeding. Unbelievable and deeply unsafe. The rice served with it was dried out, stale, and clearly sitting around for hours. To top it off, the "coriander salad" didn't even have any coriander in it. It was made with bitter, stale, old lettuce and drowned in the cheapest, most pathetic supermarket French dressing imaginable. I couldn't eat about 90% of the entire meal, yet they still had the nerve to charge 1,800 yen for this hazard. This place is genuinely dangerous and unfit to serve food. It belongs under the review of health inspectors. Save your money, avoid this terrible establishment entirely, and go literally anywhere else—Coco’s curry or a cheap local Indian place would be infinitely better than this. Do not go here.

The food was subtle in both aroma and flavor and It’s delicious. The place also has a second floor, making it feel somewhat spacious. There weren't many people when we arrived, but it tends to get busier later on.

I have visited this restaurant with one of my friends.. We got seating in 2nd floor.. This is like small but had good ambience. We ordered one famous Murgi lunch and another one is chicken fried rice. The Murgi lunch was quite good.. but chicken fried rice was not at all tasted good.. I really couldn’t eat that because they have used Japanese rice for fried rice and it literally looks like turmeric rice. And Murgi lunch curry was also not tasted like authentic Indian curry.. it’s altered for Japanese taste.. which we can get same curry in Coco curry house and Sukiya. Not recommended any other lunch set except Murgi lunch.

Indian restaurant which is not very big but has 2 floors. However I really like it because the food, especially the "Murgi Chicken Curry" is really good. The price is right for 1 portion of chicken curry, but the price for desert or drink is quite expensive. If it were cheaper, maybe I would order more. I like the decoration of the room and the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's like eating in a real indian restaurant. Especially the music also uses Indian songs. Well suited. The service is pretty good. Thanks. I will come back.
