Visited for a very late lunch at 4pm and there were only a few customers in the shop. The shop was run by one-man only. Ordered a rice and noodle set which came within minutes. Personally I liked the noodle more.

If you’re on the street queueing for Ippudo Ramen, leave that queue immediately and visit Ginza Genraku. Genraku specialises in a mix of shoyu and tonkotsu broth that is rich in pork fat. The broth is rich, flavourful and the noodles are cooked to perfection. Orders are taken at the vending machine, costing between $8-12 dollars and food comes quickly. This spot is a true hidden gem with few customers each time. Each seat comes with toppings and condiments to enhance the flavour of the broth once you’re halfway through your bowl.

Excellent ramen in a casual local joint! The pork melts in your mouth and the ramen is phenomenal. I came here by chance with my friends 8 years ago (2016). I recently stopped by again on a long layover and found that it was exactly as I had remembered! I was glad to have gone out of my way to find it! The restaurant changed slightly, now sporting some social distancing features, but the ordering machine and general ambience remained the same! Furthermore the ramen remained exceptionally consistent and delicious! Wishing you many more years of success! Hope to be back again!

A delightful ramen experience! The broth looks rich, topped generously with tender chashu, a perfectly cooked egg, fresh green onions, and bamboo shoots. Classic Japanese comfort food at its best!

Unassuming shop where we assume salary men frequent. Their tsukemen was the highlight of our meal. Very sure that the soy sauce is their umame secret ingredient. It was really good
