24/3/25 stopped here for our first meal in Japan. The noodles and broth along with Gyoza were delicious. Just popped in and was soon served our food. Thank you 🙏

The only shop open around my hotel [Monterey Ginza]. So no choice, and give it a try. Food is ok generally, nothing special. But service attitude very bad, stern and unfriendly. Ive requested to recook my ramen, it was stiff and raw, he rejected it at first, then befor I leave he gave me a whole new ramen. Rule of this restaurant is, 1person must order one ramen. But the way he told us is like lecturing us. WILL NEVER VISIT again. Too scary. Expensive and not tasty.

My fiancée and I came across Ginza Bonten on our first night in Japan. We didn’t know what to eat as it was already pretty late so we searched what was around our hotel and came across them! It was just a few streets down, so we decided to give it a try! It’s a small space but welcoming and friendly! Pretty decent amount of options! Comfy atmosphere and friendly workers! Service was good and food was delicious and came out pretty quick! Price is good for the portion as well! This has became our normal spot that we have to come to everytime we’re back in Japan! They are cash only and after 10pm they do include a late night fee. So we always try to go before 10!

Really loved the broth for this marutoku ramen. The meat? Very juicy and savory. The place is cash only and I was thankful I had cash because I loved every bit of this! Staff was friendly enough and had some English language on their menu but not entirely so that’s why I went with Marutoku because I could see the name in English lol. I liked this place better than the fancier ramen shop I went to the night before

Pleasantly surprised by this ramen restaurant (ラメン屋) - they have improved significantly since the last time I visited: they have all of their menus in English for those who don't speak Japanese, and they also have staff that speaks English understandably. Prices are excellent - around 1000 yen per meal - and the atmosphere is properly authentic. Important: they only accept cash. The food is quite nice - I ordered the ajitama and marutoku ramen, which both had a savoury dashi and nicely al dente noodles. I'm quite large and left satisfied. It does have a one-order-per-person policy, so if you are a group, everyone has to order something.
