Passed by this shop and was immediately drawn in by the amazing food photos outside. While we were using Google Translate, the friendly lady working there kindly handed us English menus, which was a thoughtful touch. The interior had a rustic, traditional atmosphere that made the place feel very authentic. The smell of the charcoal-grilled fish was incredible and made us even more excited to eat. We ordered the grilled fish set, which came with rice, miso soup, and condiments, and everything was absolutely delicious. Really glad we decided to stop by and try this place. A wonderful dining experience overall.

Loved this place. We went twice during our time in Tokyo. The grilled fish is great and most of other dishes we tried were great. If you book your table you get to dine upstairs in small private boxes. Nice experience and the price is great for what you get. Worth going here! It is quiet if Americans are not around…

One of the hidden local gems in Ginza. The place is packed with locals and there’s a line up for lunch so be prepared to wait. The grill fish has an excellent smoky flavour and the place is incredibly affordable. The staff don’t speak any English so it’s best to take a photo of the menu and point towards the set you want. It’s cash only. An excellent worthwhile stop for a local meal. I recommend the red snapper and cod.

Small traditional grilled fish restaurant. Loved it. Visited twice in our short Ginza stay. Fish was awesome. So tasty. Tried Natto on the 2nd visit. Interesting sticky bean side dish. Not my thing, but I heard it’s very popular and healthy.

We mostly had vegetarian dishes which turned out to be our best bites of the meal. The grilled king oyster mushroom was deeply flavored, and the salad, tomato, and sesame cucumber dishes were cool, well marinated, and refreshing. We also had tofu dishes and fish skewers which were pretty good.
