At our shop, the portion is larger than what is usually provided by curry shops, so please enjoy the curry until you are full. Also, because Indian curry contains less oil than Japanese curry, you won't get heartburn even if you eat too much. Indian curry is very different between the north and the south. People in the hot southern regions eat curry with strong sour and spicy flavors with rice as a staple food, while people in the north near the Himalayas eat thick curry like butter chicken with naan or chapati as a staple food. Also, the spices contained in curry are herbal medicines that are also used in Chinese medicine. Recommended for those in the hot summer season, those who feel like they are catching a cold, or those whose digestion is tired. Our shop's recommended way of eating is...

Solid Indian curry with Japanese rice. I got the “habanero hot” curry for lunch, which was good, although not too spicy. My wife’s curry honestly tasted the same, mine was just a little spicier, even though we supposedly got different curries. Definitely worth a lunch visit, although a bit pricey for the quantity. Also, if you don’t like the taste of fake cheese, pass on it. I gave mine to my wife.

Kind of Japanese Indian restaurant. As for taste, I would say more Japanese than Indian, they have quite limited choice of curry (at least during lunch), but price is low and taste also good.

One of my favourite neighbourhood restaurant. Simple, yet delicious curry. In addition to the scrumptious food, the staff (especially Delhi ‘Mama’) really do take great care of all their customers, and remember you by name if you come frequently enough. The curry itself is quite different to others that I have had - it is not too thick, and I found that goes extremely well with the other items on offer (pickled onions, cheese, pickles etc). If you want a spicier curry, just ask the staff and they genuinely do their best to match your tolerance. Ambience is absolutely no frills - you get what you ask for and there are no curtains between the chefs and customers, which I’ve found delightful. Especially for expressing gratitude to the chefs for a delicious meal! Strongly recommend if in the neighbourhood.
