My friend made reservations and we visited today Saturday 4pm for free and it’s just us and another family of two. Kusuri Museum staff very kind and helpful, was able to enjoy the facilities including short movies on medicine development and progress, quiz on medicine types, brief history of Japanese medical practice. Very informative overall.

Very friendly and interesting museum! One of the stuff speaks English and whole exhibition has English translation. You can make photos only on the 1st floor. Recommend this museum for kids age 6 and older.

An amazing experience, it was very interactive and available in English... I wish I had of had more time to explore it all... For the entrance fee (its free) its informative and well worth the time to visit.

This was much better than expected. There were some repetition with some of the topics but you can just move onto something else. They gave us 1.5 hours but I would’ve liked another 30 mins to finish the other exhibits. I learned many new things about drug development. The introduction video was all in Japanese but there was English audio or text for the rest of the exhibits. Reservations can only be changed over the phone in Japanese, unfortunately. Photography not allowed so I didn’t take any.
