was it worth the 1.5 hour wait? surprisingly, YES super creamy, rich, and not too sweet! we got the: ⭐️ premium (first harvest) iced matcha latte with oat milk 4.5/6 ⭐️ hojicha latte hot with regular milk 5/5 yes, it was 75 degrees and I still got a hot matcha cause hot >> iced. and they don’t do hot oat milk so I had to get regular instead of soy. still, probably one of the best straight up matcha lattes I’ve ever had. also, the line was super long and wrapped around. anna got their at 9am (opening) took her 1.5 hours. the line is also almost entirely tourists, no locals. I am sure there are places that are almost as good without the wait. I’d recommend tagging out with friends if you can the staff is super good about being welcoming and making sure people don’t skip the line since it was a bit confusing where to wait. 10000/10 service.

We discovered this spot on TikTok after seeing countless positive reviews, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The shop is quite small and tucked away on a corner, so it can be easy to miss. We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and there were already around 20 people ahead of us — mostly tourists. The street outside is very busy with both bicycles and vehicle traffic, so be careful while waiting in line. The matcha itself tasted similar to a traditional matcha you can find elsewhere, but what made this place special was the overall experience. Watching the preparation process up close and being immersed in the craftsmanship made the visit worthwhile.

Personally not that big of a hype after trying it unfortunately social media has made this place way too hype. We did line up first this in the morning to avoid an even longer line through the day. They do use about 7g of matcha but to be fair, the matcha is sweet, plain and doesnt really have much depth. It is pleasant green sweet milk in my opinion. I did also buy the matcha powder here with high expectations but honestly was let down when i got home to use it. I got 20g and it was clumpy, hard to get a nice microfoam with the chasen. Would not recommend spending money on the matcha powder. My powders from uji are much superior. Nonetheless i feel like its something people will still have to try because matcha is so personal. I would say there are better matchas such as matcha stand maruni being my favourite! Also theres also usually a line for the cafe next door so make sure you don’t stand in the wrong line!! I did this without realizing.

Cloud Club Matcha is a must-visit for matcha lovers. We waited around 20 minutes in line, but it was definitely worth it. The matcha was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced you can really taste the quality of the matcha they use. The flavors were authentic without being overly sweet, which made everything even more enjoyable.

Cloud Club Matcha is definitely one of those places that tests your patience—but rewards it well. I waited about an hour, which says a lot about how popular it is, but honestly, it turned out to be worth it. I ordered both the hojicha and the premium matcha. The hojicha was surprisingly the standout for me—rich, roasted, and super comforting, especially if you’re not into overly grassy flavors. The premium matcha was smooth and well-balanced, not too bitter, and clearly high quality. What I really liked is that you can customize your drink with different sugar levels, plus they offer both oat milk and regular milk options, which is a nice touch. Another thoughtful detail: they even provide umbrellas for customers while waiting, which makes the whole experience feel a bit more cared for. Long wait, yes—but good drinks and small details make it worth trying at least once.
