I was staying at a hotel near the Ningyocho Stn and came across this little gem while looking for someplace to have dinner. Their chicken curry is made with tomatoes, yogurt, and spices, without using a drop of water. The curry was thick, chunky, and flavorful. I also had the avocado and tomato salad, and the homemade onion dressing was delicious! The overall menu prices were reasonable and they accept PayPay or cash for payment, but no credit cards. Their menu was in Japanese, and I suspect that not much English is spoken at this little establishment.

The yakitori and curry is delicious!

Special Chicken Curry, regular size, 1000円 @ Chicken Place Kobunacho branch. An original spice curry made only from onions sautéed for 6 hours without a single drop of water, yogurt, and tomatoes. Just as the sign says, it was really delicious.

Weekday lunch. It gets a line after 12, so I went a bit early at 1145. Got in without waiting. Special Chicken Curry, medium serving 250g ¥1,050. I had drinks planned that evening so I went with medium, but the curry was so insanely good I almost regretted it. Waterless curry with just the right heat and tender chicken. Next time I want a big large serving. A place I want to go back to. Highly, highly recommend.
