Best lunch in months. High quality French in family settings, with a more than reasonable price. Will come back.
View on GoogleA shop that used to be in Ningyocho. First visit after moving to Hamacho. Now, is it a one-man operation? For lunch, choose from 3 types (this time, beef sirloin / roasted chicken thigh / red sea bream poêlé). This comes with salad and bread. ¥2,000 The portion is a bit large. The roasted chicken skin was crispy and delicious.
View on GoogleVisited with 4 colleagues. Even the salad is a large portion and very plentiful. This time we all ordered sirloin steak and it was very delicious! Recommended. Thank you for the meal. I will come again.
View on GoogleThe portion is large, the salad was too big to fit in my mouth, and the boiled egg was on the salad in a whole state. The bread, meat, and eggplant under the meat were all big. I think it's for men. The pork shoulder loin was seasoned with salt and pepper (lightly), and the fat was absorbed by the white eggplant. If there was a sauce, I might have been able to eat it, but I got bored halfway through.
View on GoogleA classic French restaurant where you can get delicious vegetables, a calm one-man shop with old jazz playing. Cash only for both lunch and dinner. It's just that you can't refill the bread and the main dish is a bit lacking. The shop is spacious and relaxing, with 7 tables for 2 people, but it seems they can be combined freely, so it seems it could be used for private bookings. Indeed, there are many private bookings at night, so phone confirmation is required. There are no table spices; knives, forks, butter knives, cloth napkins, and wet towel trays are set. When seated, they served a cloth wet towel and cold water. There is no hand sanitizer, but there was one in the toilet. The toilet is right at the entrance, shared by men and women, with a warm seat with a washlet. I'm happy the hand towel is a cloth wet towel. ⭐︎5 Love it so much I want to go every day (taste and cost-performance are good). ⭐︎4 Want to go again even if I have to try a little (a good shop that is rare). ⭐︎3 Delicious and okay to go again (will go normally if not invited immediately). ⭐︎2 Not to my taste or cost/service is bad, no voluntary revisit, but might go if invited to be treated. ⭐︎1 Don't like, don't want to eat, hate, bad feeling, personally think it's bad (not worth visiting personally). When visiting on a weekday in October 2025 at 12:40, there was 1 previous customer, my husband ordered lunch B sauteed Yamagata pork shoulder loin, and I ordered lunch C red sea bream poêlé. Lunch is 2,000 yen, the main dish is large and has plenty of vegetables, I'm happy. There is a large salad with 1 boiled egg, lettuce, and watercress, and a hot baguette with a gentle taste. In terms of color, it might be good if there were tomatoes or shredded carrots. My husband also liked the butter. When I tasted the end of the red sea bream, I was surprised because the saltiness was strong. But underneath it, there is a lot of cabbage boiled until it's very soft that I mistook it for boiled lettuce, and this is relatively light but delicious. The marriage of the crispy but rather oily and salty red sea bream was good. The pork shoulder loin my husband ordered had a strange spice aroma, but it's not suitable for me who doesn't like fat. But I think it's good for people who want to eat a lot. My husband who likes fat also said he didn't feel the taste or sweetness of the fat in particular, but the seasoning was unsatisfying or if only there was coarse pepper or a sauce with more punch, it might have been better. If I happen to pass by or it's close, maybe my husband will order beef steak and I will order chicken, but because it's a bit far, maybe I won't revisit.
