Charming, unforgettable. The owner exudes kindness and you could taste the care, sincerity and warmth in each dish. The portions were perfect for lunch - satisfying yet not too heavy. We had the cottage pie, beef bourgignon and a lovely carrot soup made using her mother’s own recipe. Everything tasted simply delicious and comforting, much like a lovingly home-cooked meal. The ambience is cosy and welcoming too!
View on GoogleGreat French host from Paris, great food and atmosphere. We especially liked the beef and soup. Deserts were nice, not sure about salad, I expected better
View on GooglePerfection. My friend and I went and left with joy in our hearts and a sated tummy. Didn’t even need dinner after. We were treated so very kindly by the attentive host/owner. Despite the restaurant being full from start of service til the end, I saw she spoke and exchanged pleasantries with every patron. Plus, service was immaculate - orders taken, food came around, glasses replenished with water all fairly quickly. I wish all restaurants were just this pleasant to visit. Just the loveliest place with delicious food. 100/10
View on GoogleDecent food but short of my expectations after reading the reviews. I guess maybe the Japanese have different expectations of French food than mine. The place is nice and cozy. The lady chef is super friendly, a french lady speaking fluent Japanese is quite interesting to see. The food, however, is quite a far cry from a bistro in France. Still decent but I feel that some flavor is missing.
View on GoogleI really enjoyed my weekend lunch here with the family. We ordered the daily special (veal) and the gratin for 1450 yen each. The special came with a soup and they provided french bread, which was delicious. I seldom eat French, but I can say I was very satisfied after this meal. I will come back here. They also provide outside seats too, which would be great on a nice day. The decor and service was also very nice. They were patient with us and even though I can with a 2 year old, we were welcomed (they had provided small children utensils and bowl for her)
