Located on the 10th floor of the Chanel building in Ginza, the dining hall is spacious and carries that high-brand, VIP-lounge atmosphere you’d expect, with soaring ceilings and large windows looking out over the surrounding Ginza cityscape. Overall, a premium French experience from start to finish. Every dish was delicate and refined, cooked to perfection and tasting wonderful. Each sauce was matched immaculately to its main ingredient. My personal favorites were the lobster tail over risotto and the seared Wagyu beef. The staff were highly professional throughout, accommodating and attentive, recommending specific wine pairings based on each dish and explaining every course in detail. A refined, memorable meal that lives up to its setting. Highly recommended for a special occasion in Ginza.
View on GoogleA restaurant in Ginza with a famous celeb-chef’s name attached to it, I had to try. So I went solo for lunch. And unfortunately, I came away wishing it were a little more… more inventive, more quality, more pizzazz, more memorable. First, the breads were uninspired. The focaccia was passable but the baguette was forgettable. They were served cold with ordinary butter. Once the breads failed to impress, I just knew the rest of the meal was going to require lowering my expectation a bit. I had the larger prix fixe menu that included two main courses, for which I opted fish and lamb. It was a hit and a miss. While the fish was good, I found the lamb here to be just about on par with Hyatt Regency room service (which I eat every month on business trips). My advice is to skip the lamb and go with Wagyu beef or something else. Other than the above, nothing else stood out from this lunch. The overall experience wasn’t terrible. It just left me wondering about a lot of things.
View on GoogleI had the pleasure of dining at Beige in Ginza last night, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The restaurant’s atmosphere captures the essence of refined elegance — modern, calm, and beautifully balanced between French sophistication and Japanese minimalism. The service was flawless throughout. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Team Manager Rina Aoyama, whose warm presence and exceptional professionalism made the evening feel truly special. Her attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the experience was handled with grace and care. The wine service, led by Sommelier Seitaro Suzuki, was equally impressive. His deep knowledge and precise guidance elevated the entire meal. We enjoyed three remarkable bottles: Montrachet — rich, layered, and elegant, revealing perfect balance between minerality and creaminess. Nuits-St.-Georges — beautifully expressive, with refined tannins and vibrant red fruit, a true reflection of Burgundy’s finesse. Pichon Longueville — powerful and structured, offering depth and complexity that lingered gracefully on the palate. Each bottle was served at the ideal temperature, and the progression between wines felt natural and thoughtfully orchestrated. It was a genuine pleasure to see such mastery in presentation and service. Beige perfectly embodies the spirit of harmony between French artistry and Japanese precision. With outstanding cuisine, an exceptional wine program, and a team that delivers warmth and professionalism at every turn, it stands among Tokyo’s finest dining experiences. A heartfelt thank-you to Rina Aoyama, Seitaro Suzuki, and the entire team for an unforgettable evening.
View on GoogleSurprisingly good service with orchestra cooperation mode of the staffs. From the moment entering the building till the end of the experience, it is really encouraging that the service is professional but not cold. Not to mention the food and the atmosphere.
